Systems that match how you actually operate
Your core systems should reflect how work moves through your business, from estimate or order through operations, billing, and accounting.

ERP & ACCOUNTING • INTEGRATION • AUTOMATION • REPORTING
For contractors and producers running multiple projects, plants, locations, or entities. HBS builds the systems and processes that carry operational activity into accounting, so the numbers still hold up when they reach the financials.
WHAT WE DO
HBS works at the point where operational activity becomes financial information.
Your core systems should reflect how work moves through your business, from estimate or order through operations, billing, and accounting.
Connect the systems where the work happens to the systems where it gets recorded, so nobody keys the same information twice.
Replace repetitive entry, spreadsheet workarounds, and fragile handoffs with processes that run the same way every time.
Job cost, product and customer profitability, and reporting you don't have to rebuild in a spreadsheet.

WHY HBS
Joe Carnes spent more than a decade with a multi-location sand and gravel producer, starting in labor roles and eventually leading both finance and technology across as many as seventeen entities. He was responsible for the ERP, the ticketing and trucking systems, the integrations between them, and the accounting and reporting those systems fed.
His civil construction experience spans four years in finance and project controls for a publicly traded federal contractor, covering estimating, forecasting, job cost, EACs, billing, and project accounting on utilities, site work, and infrastructure projects.
That matters because the hardest problems usually sit between operations, systems, and financials. HBS understands how those pieces connect.
Most HBS engagements start with a focused look at the systems, data, and handoffs behind the numbers. We’ll use the 15-minute call to understand where things are breaking down and whether HBS is the right fit.
